How do I start a routine?
Choose a saved routine or create a new session. Add a stretch pack or create your own exercises, set the duration for each, and check the sequence before you begin. You can build and run routines on Apple Watch alone or iPhone alone. When using both, choose which device runs the session. Use Apple Watch for wrist haptic cues.
Stretch packs include illustrations and written setup cues. On Apple Watch, tap the stretch picture beside the timer to open its instructions. The app times your sequence; it does not identify your movements or assess your form.
Do I need a subscription?
An annual or monthly subscription is required to start stretching sessions. The monthly plan includes a seven-day free trial for eligible subscribers, followed by monthly billing. The annual plan has no free trial. Your local price, trial eligibility, billing period and renewal terms appear in the app before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
Your prepared routine stays saved while you choose a plan. Connecting Apple Health is optional and does not start a subscription.
How do I restore or manage my subscription?
Open Settings in Stretching Timer to restore purchases or manage your subscription. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restore purchases checks for existing access; it does not start a new subscription.
Manage your subscription to review your plan, renewal date or cancellation options through Apple. If access has not appeared after restoring, confirm your subscription is active and try again with an internet connection.
What changes between automatic and manual mode?
Automatic mode moves to the next interval when the current one ends. In manual mode, the Watch signals that the interval is complete and waits. Tap Next to continue or Finish after the final interval. Manual mode repeats reminders while it waits for you.
I can’t feel the taps on my wrist.
Check that the session is running on Apple Watch and that your Watch’s haptic alerts are enabled. Make sure it fits comfortably against your wrist. The phone timer does not replace Apple Watch’s wrist haptics.
If you are unsure the Watch is following your queue, pause and check the current interval before continuing.
My phone and Watch aren’t connecting.
Confirm the devices are paired and both apps are installed. Open the app on each device and keep them nearby while you set up the session. Check the connection status before starting a Watch session from your phone.
A session can also be started directly from the Watch. Avoid starting two separate sessions while you are checking connectivity.
How do I save to Apple Health?
After finishing, choose Save to Health on the summary screen and follow Apple’s permission prompt if shown. Wait for the saved confirmation. You can also finish without saving.
If saving fails or Health is unavailable, check the app’s Health permissions in your device settings. Workouts saved in Apple Health are separate from the recent sessions shown in the timer.
Which devices does the app support?
Use Stretching Timer on Apple Watch alone, iPhone alone, or both. Create and run routines directly on either device. Apple Watch provides wrist taps for screen-free timing. The iPhone app requires iOS 26 or later; the Watch app requires watchOS 26 or later.
Your privacy
No app account is needed. Routines and recent sessions stay on your devices; optional Health saves go to Apple Health. Read the privacy information for more detail.
